Dr. Virgil Zeigler-Hill is a Distinguished Professor and the Director of Graduate Training in the Department of Psychology at Oakland University. He is a social-personality psychologist with primary research interests in three interrelated areas: (1) personality structures and processes (e.g., narcissism, psychopathy, spitefulness), (2) self-esteem, and (3) interpersonal relationships. He has published more than 250 journal articles, book chapters, and books. His work has been covered by various media outlets including The New York Times and National Public Radio.
